This may be a shocker to some:
FOOD BY MAN IS ALMOST ALL INDIGESTIBLE , and when we eat it, we get fat because our bodies were not made to digest this stuff.
What is food altered by man? Here is a small list: aspartame, fast-food burgers and fries, sugar, dairy products like milk, cheese, and ice cream, and refined flour products like breads, pastries, and cereal. The further away any product is from its natural state, the more potentially harmful it is to our bodies.
I am sure that we have all heard of "the other white meat" pork. Did you know that fat absorbs all of the many toxins that pigs are exposed to? We are warned in the Bible that pork is not good for us and should not be eaten. Regardless of what the commercials say on TV you should avoid, or at least eat a very limited amount of pork.
Also, did you know that shellfish is not good for you and also we are warned in the Bible not to eat shellfish. The reason is; they eat fish droppings for a living.
Here are some more things we should not consume: sugar substitutes because they can cause severe neurological complications; hydrogenated oils because it cannot be broken down by the body and directly clogs arteries and fat deposits. Additives, colorings, flavorings, and preservatives because they are 100% toxic to the body and brain!
We can't leave fast food out of this! Fast food is empty calories that clog the intestines and linger in the system causing poor absorption of other nutrients, fatigue, obesity and disease.
What about dairy? We have been taught all of our lives that dairy is good for us, actually it is on the healthy food pyramid, remember that in school? Dairy is made for baby cows and the pasteurization process and additives make is dangerous and of little benefit.
Also, regularly over -stimulating glands and organs with caffeine will cause damage. You may think you are getting energy but over time you are actually robbing your body of it.
Refined sugar is a chemical that also over-stimulates organs, causes fat to deposit and creates hazardous blood sugar changes. Table salt is also very toxic in high doses.
White foods are also indigestible, block intestines and create weight gain, mal-absorption, colon disease and all of the other associated issues of dysfunctional intestine system such as fatigue, allergies, and bad skin.
Now you are probably wondering, what is good for you? What can I eat? I will get to that in my next post. Keep in mind that the farther away any product is from its natural state, the more potentially harmful it is. Therefore, these food are highly likely to poison and damage your body and should be considered harmful.
A healthier eating program gives you more energy, greater strength, increased mental awareness, and significantly increases the time you will spend here on earth, what you put in your mouth affects the people you love.
